During the plenary sessions, interpretation is provided in the following languages: English, Albanian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Montenegrin and Serbian.

On the first conference day, the programme will start earlier. Registration will open at 08:00, and the Kick Off and Outline of the Day is scheduled to start at 08:45.
We encourage you to download the Event App upon your arrival on 11 September, in order to get real-time notifications. All participants will receive their login details vai email.
The opening networking dinner will take place on Wednesday, 11 September, held at the conference venue and opened by Aivo Orav, EU Ambassador and Head of
Delegation to Montenegro. Business-casual outfits are highly encouraged.
The Cultural Evening, on Thursday 12 September, will take place in a former aircraft hangar, transformed into a wine cellar. Cocktail attire is recommended, however, it can get a little chilly in the cellar, so dress accordingly.
The dress for other general and concurrent events is business casual. As indoor environments will be air conditioned and tend to be cool, dress in layers or bring a sweater, suit jacket or shawl.
A free shuttle service between the airport and the three conference hotels (Hilton Podgorica, CentreVille Hotel, Hotel Podgorica) is available for delegates on 11 September, between 08:15 and 17:00. The longest wait time for a shuttle is 30 minutes.
Look for the welcoming assistant showing the conference visual in the terminal to be showed the way to the shuttle bus.
The registration desk is located in the lobby of the Hilton Podgorica, on the ground level. All attendees will need to pick-up the registration badge first to ensure easy access throughout the conference.
If you will join the networking dinner on 11/09, we encourage you to already collect your badge at the registration desk, that will be available for all the duration of the dinner.
The registration desk will be opened according to the following schedule:
Wed, 11 September: 19:00 – 22:00
Thu, 12 September: 08:00 – 17:30
Fri, 13 September: 08:15 – 12:30
At the end of the conference, free shuttle service will be available just outside the Hilton hotel, directed to the airport. The departure timings will be clearly indicated at the reception desk.
If you decide to bring your luggage with you to the Conference Venue on the final conference day, you will be able to benefit from the luggage storage service we have arranged for your comfort. Luggage can be securely stored at the Conference Hotel Hilton Podgorica, only on 13 September.
You may decide to use your car to reach the Hilton in the morning of the last conference day. Please note that space in the Hilton is subject to availability. There is no possibility to reserve parking spaces in advance. Also be advised that parking fees apply at the Hilton Podgorica.
A free shuttle service between the conference venue (Hilton Podgorica) and the two other hotels (Hotel Podgorica, CentreVille Hotel). Vehicles will be clearly marked with the EU – Western Balkans Media Day logo. Dedicated pick up points are defined for each hotel, information about the exact pick up location will be displayed in the main lobby of each hotel.
For non-sponsored participants arriving outside of the Airport Shuttle times, a taxi service is available from Podgorica Airport, every day during the airport operating hours. The official taxi company operating at the airport is called Royal Taxi PG. More information on the airport’s website.
Public transportation consists of buses, that are not very frequent, and maps of the lines could be hard to locate. Tickets cost between €0.50 and €1 per single ride, and can be purchased on board, usually directly from the driver. For taxis, we strongly suggest you to address the hotel front desk, or the registration desk for trusted taxi companies and phone numbers.
Join us for wine tasting in a very special location: a former aircraft hangar! The Cultural Evening will be hosted by Deputy Prime Minister for Political system, Interior and Foreign Policy Zoran Pažin.
The Cultural Evening takes place in a special venue, located 8km southeast of Podgorica and it is operated by Plantaže, Montenegro’s largest wine company. The wine cellar occupies a 356m-long tunnel which was once a secret underground passage for military planes.
Partially destroyed in 1999 and abandoned immediately afterward, the revamped hangar now houses millions of liters of wine, aging gently in oak barrels and bottles.
A free-of-charge transfer bus will depart from the Conference Hotel Hilton Podgorica at 19:45. All participants who want to use this transfer will be required to come to the Conference Hotel Hilton Podgorica by own means.
At the end of the evening, a free-of-charge transfer bus will service all 3 official conference hotels: Hilton Podgorica, Hotel Podgorica and the CentreVille Hotel.
